Job Details

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in adaptive optics, wavefront sensing, and closed-loop control systems.
  • Strong proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, control system design, and non-linear system analysis.
  • Experience implementing and debugging control laws, digital filters, and DSP algorithms in embedded C.
  • Hands-on experience developing adaptive optics feedback and control algorithms.
  • Proven ability to transition technologies from research to production environments.
  • Experience collaborating across hardware, software, and algorithm development teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, testing, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in adaptive optics applications.
  • Experience supporting the full lifecycle development of Lasercom or similar optical communication systems.
  • Familiarity with atmospheric laser communication systems.
