Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and be proficient in Quickbooks and QuickBooks Online. If you are passionate about finance and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, including reconciling accounts, recording transactions, and preparing financial statements.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Manage payroll processing, including calculating and recording employee hours, preparing paychecks, and submitting payroll taxes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any issues related to financial transactions.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3 + years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting with a public accounting firm required
  • Strong knowledge of Quickbooks and QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficient in general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards.
