Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
2. Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures.
3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Collaborating with our consulting team to provide strategic financial advice to clients.
5. Developing and maintaining financial analysis and reporting systems to support decision-making.
6. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
7. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Liaising with external auditors and managing internal controls.
9. Implementing and maintaining the financial accounting system, ensuring maximum efficiency.
10. Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA would be considered an asset.
3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
5. Extensive knowledge in preparing journal entries and general ledger operations.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and detail orientation.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
11. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
