Our esteemed organization is seeking a passionate and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects within the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in both Commercial and Residential interior design and be comfortable providing Full Service to our clients. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
The Interior Designer will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Collaborating with team members and clients to develop design concepts for both commercial and residential projects.

2. Overseeing all aspects of the design process, from initial concept development to final execution, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

3. Creating detailed plans and drawings, including 3D renderings, to illustrate design concepts and assist clients in visualizing the final product.

4. Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and meet the client's needs and budget.

5. Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that the interior design aligns with the overall project goals.

6. Presenting design concepts and progress updates to clients, responding to feedback, and making necessary revisions.

7. Staying up-to-date on the latest design trends, technologies, and industry regulations, and incorporating this knowledge into your work.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Interior Designer role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial and Residential interior design.

3. Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

4. A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design styles and a high level of creativity and technical skill.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.

6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

7. A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of color, texture, and light, as well as the ability to balance aesthetic considerations with functional requirements.

8. Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and technologies, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.

9. Certification from a recognized design institution, such as the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), is preferred.
