As a Permanent Fund Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the preparation and review of fund financial statements and schedules of investments.
2. Managing the daily operations of fund accounting, including ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
3. Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process.
4. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
5. Developing and implementing fund accounting policies and procedures.
6. Providing technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients.
7. Participating in new business development by working with senior management and other partners.
8. Maintaining a current and thorough understanding of laws and regulations and being able to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies.


The ideal candidate for the Permanent Fund Accounting Manager role will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting.
3. Familiarity with property accounting.
4. Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
8. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. CPA certification is a plus.
