Job Details
- Provider type: PA or NP
- Providers needed: 2
- Start date: October 2024
- Schedule: Mon-Friday 8-4:30 can be flexible if wanting a different schedule.
- Contract length: 3-12 months
- Any specific dates needed coverage: May 2024- December 2024 (possibly longer)
- Cases/Procedures required: None, rounding in hospital and clinic visits
- Patient volume: 10-14 patients in clinic. 30 minutes for follow ups 60 min for new or established patients.
- Support staff: RN, 2 MA, and patient intake assistant. 2 MDs
- Staff mix: 2MD, 2 PA, see above, manager and supervisor.
- Call requirements: None.
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Experience required: Preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered or eligible to register with the Minnesota State Board of Medical Examiners. Certified or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Maintenance of the continuing medical education requirements of the NCCPA. Eligibility for registration as a Physician Assistant in Wisconsin may be required. BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network.
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
