The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the execution of high-quality clinical laboratory procedures and the development of innovative scientific research. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the execution of complex clinical laboratory procedures, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness in accordance with CLIA or CAP standards.
2. Employ your expertise in CMT, AMT, ASCP to provide technical guidance and support to junior staff.
3. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative scientific research projects.
5. Participate in the review and interpretation of laboratory results, providing critical insights to guide clinical decisions.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of laboratory practice.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in clinical technology, applying this knowledge to improve laboratory procedures and research methodologies.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior technologists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on high complexity testing.
3. Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) or College of American Pathologists (CAP).
4. Demonstrated expertise in CMT, AMT, ASCP, or equivalent.
5. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex laboratory issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
8. An unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice and patient care.
