Job Details

  • Review and prepare general correspondence, purchase and sale contracts, JVs, license agreements, construction documents (including AIAs), financing documents, commercial leases and amendments, default letters.
  • Lease negotiations.
  • Lead legal due diligence.
  • Open and maintain files and record critical dates and contingencies.
  • Prepare a closing checklist, and formal closing notification which includes outlining critical dates and clearly communicating open conditions to closing.
  • Coordinate closing with all parties in the transaction, including the buyer, sellers, title insurance company, opposing counsel, and lender.
  • Manage transactional communication between all parties: clients, tenant’s counsel, lender's counsel, title company, management company, transfer agent, real estate agents, loan officers, and lender closing departments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Provide management and guidance to the legal assistant.
