Job Details

  • Defend and manage a varied caseload of general liability matters including, but not limited to, premises liability, auto and transportation, products liability, construction accidents/defects, subrogation, false arrest & imprisonment, and food contamination.
  • Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution—pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations/arbitrations, and trial.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients and insurance carriers regarding case evaluation, exposure, and resolution strategies.
  • Work closely with partners and clients to achieve efficient and cost-effective results.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. and active Illinois Bar license (or pending admission)
  • Experience in general liability, insurance defense, or a related area (auto, premises, construction, or product liability preferred)
  • Strong litigation and client communication skills
