Job Details
As a Permanent General Liability Defense Attorney, you will be entrusted with a multitude of responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
2. Provide expert legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they are well informed about their legal liability.
3. Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuring a thorough understanding of each case.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
5. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes, including personal injury cases, in the best interest of clients.
6. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases.
7. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
8. Confer with colleagues to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the position of Permanent General Liability Defense Attorney must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury defense.
3. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven track record of successfully defending clients in personal injury cases.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
6. Strong legal research and analytical skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to handle a large caseload and work under pressure.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficiency in legal case management software.
