We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager for our Manufacturing Plant. This role requires an individual with a robust understanding of the manufacturing industry, specifically in the area of plastic injection molding. The successful candidate will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They will develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the plant and ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of production.
  • Develop and implement a robust business strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all times and foster a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Manage compliance with TS 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting and P&L.
  • Lead project management initiatives and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Facilitate team building and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Implement and manage performance management systems to track employee performance and productivity.
  • Use Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Oversee production planning and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong market presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a senior management role within the manufacturing industry, specifically within a plastic injection molding environment.
  • Proven track record of success in process improvement, leadership, project management, and business strategy.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, including TS 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial operations, and P&L management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and business planning skills.
  • Experience in performance management and team building.
  • A commitment to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
