Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in trucking, service and operations, P&L, and diesel mechanics. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our business, ensuring that operations run smoothly and effectively. You will be the driving force behind our company, implementing strategic plans and setting goals. Your leadership skills will inspire and motivate our team to be the best they can be, resulting in a productive and profitable business.

Responsibilities:

As a General Manager, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that will require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
2. Managing P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts.
3. Leading and directing a team of diesel technicians and diesel mechanics.
4. Implementing strategic plans to promote growth and meet business objectives.
5. Ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with key clients.
6. Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
7. Implementing and maintaining quality control standards.
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
9. Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
10. Providing strong leadership and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a General Manager in the trucking industry.
2. Proven experience in managing P&L statements.
3. Solid understanding of diesel mechanics, with experience managing a team of diesel technicians.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. A strategic thinker, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
8. Proficient in relevant software and technology.
9. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
10. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
