Purpose
The General Manager is responsible for allocating budget resources, creating and maintaining policies, coordinating business operations, managing operational costs, ensuring the highest quality of customer service is maintained, improving processes, engaging with vendors and hiring employees.
Essential Job Functions
E Oversees all aspects of the HVAC department including but not limited to service, sales, installation, call taking, dispatching, billing and day to day activity.
E Prepare/review all GM reporting including activity trackers and forecasting and take the appropriate action.
E Analyze determinates of profitability and take appropriate actions to maintain goals.
E Establish a dynamic business plan with detailed annual objectives including but not limited to growth, revenue, bottom line, and market shar with President/Owner.
E Consistently monitor financial performance and adjust operational expenses in accordance with the plan.
E Consistently monitor and manage all procurement in order to control costs while adhering to the highest standard of quality.
E Consistently monitor and adjust the efficiency of business relationships and procedures in order to meet objectives.
E Top to bottom P&L responsibility – from project level to bottom line.
E Overseeing daily business operations.
E Developing and implementing growth strategies.
E Oversees Training low-level managers and staff.
E Creating and managing budgets.
E Improving revenue.
E Evaluating performance and productivity.
E Analyzing accounting and financial data.
E Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
N Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours
This is an exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
Competencies
This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to keep composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines and collaborating with different parties. Position requires excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and work-related standards. Must maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service orientated focus. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written communication skills, in addition to well-developed conflict resolution skills.
Education and Experience
This position requires 3-5 years prior experience in the construction trade, preferably HVAC or Home Services. Prior supervisory experience with the ability to effectively coach, counsel and train employees. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job. Valid driver’s license and insurable under our company insurance policy.

In Office - Standard office environment.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
Supervisory Responsibility
Oversees and supervises all brand departments and employees.
Travel
Regular travel should be expected between location and job sites. Occasional travel to SEER partner companies or for SEER related training and meetings. Travel to be expected primarily during normal business hours however may be required to respond to emergency call during off hours.
