- BS/MS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical concentration.
- 5+ years’ of Geotechnical Engineering experience
- EIT, PE License or ability to gain reciprocity.
- Responsibilities include performing structural and geotechnical design calculations, laboratory testing, research activities, and numerical modeling.
- Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, performing site and subsurface geotechnical investigations, geotechnical engineering designs and
- Knowledge of site and subsurface investigation, development of engineering properties of soil and rock, foundation design and analysis, foundation analysis
- Knowledge of pile installation and testing, numerical analysis using FEM and FDM, soil and/or rock slope stability and construction specifications.
- Prepare geotechnical project work scopes, budgets, and proposals.
- Plan and coordinate field exploration programs including site reconnaissance.
- Perform soil and rock classification
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards, including those related to the nuclear industry.
- Legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship.
