Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Global Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role is integral to our financial leadership team and is responsible for managing all aspects of our global financial operations. This includes, but not limited to, global financial close, month-end close, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), inventory accounting, and management of long-lived assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of international accounting principles and US GAAP.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Global Controller, you will:

1. Oversee all global accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
2. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual global financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
3. Coordinate, manage, and support all external audit and internal audit functions.
4. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations.
5. Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
6. Manage and oversee inventory accounting and long-lived assets.
7. Work closely with cross-departmental teams to support overall department goals and objectives.
8. Implement and manage the SAP system to streamline financial operations.
9. Provide leadership and support to the global finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the automotive sector.
3. Proven experience in managing global financial close, month-end close, FP&A, inventory accounting, and long-lived assets.
4. Solid knowledge of US GAAP, international accounting principles, IFRS, and SEC regulations.
5. Experience with SAP is essential.
6. Demonstrated experience in managing external and internal audits.
7. Proven ability to manage and develop cross-departmental teams.
8. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
9. Experience in managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
10. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
