Job Details

We are seeking a Global Freight Management Specialist to oversee and optimize domestic and international freight operations across multiple transportation modes. This individual contributor role will serve as a key point of contact for logistics providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders while ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods throughout the supply chain.

The position will manage both outbound and inbound freight activity, including domestic LTL, FTL, parcel, and air shipments as well as international ocean and air transportation. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments across multiple systems, monitoring freight activity, resolving transportation issues, maintaining carrier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with logistics service providers and transportation partners to manage day-to-day operations while also contributing to strategic initiatives such as carrier evaluations, contract discussions, freight optimization, and cost reduction efforts. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with vendors, operations teams, distribution leadership, and cross-functional business partners.

Additional responsibilities include auditing freight invoices, ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, tracking transportation performance metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency, and overall freight spend.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation, along with a strong understanding of shipping documentation, carrier management, logistics processes, and transportation best practices. Candidates should be comfortable operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and serving as a key contributor within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

This hybrid position requires weekly travel between facilities in Fontana and San Clemente, California, and offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting a growing global logistics network.
