Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Operate as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role (2+ years required).
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
- Background in agriculture, particularly grain origination, is highly desirable.
