Job Details

Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to government agencies and funders in accordance with contract terms.
  • Monitor and track expenditures for grant-funded programs to ensure compliance with approved budgets and funding guidelines.
  • Reconcile grant accounts and prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure allowable costs are charged correctly and funds are used in compliance with grant agreements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including funders and auditors.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of grant agreements, amendments, and supporting records.
  • Support audit and monitoring processes, including preparation of schedules and reports.
  • Monitor grant receivables and follow up on outstanding payments or documentation requests.
  • Participate in the budgeting process for grant proposals and renewals.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, including OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and other federal/state requirements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, with direct experience in grant and government contract management
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and federal grant regulations (including OMB Uniform Guidance)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
