We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Hardware Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing various hardware components. This role will involve working closely with the software engineering team to design and develop hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The Hardware Design Engineer will also be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept to production. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to make a significant impact on our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop hardware components using CAD and Altium software for PCB design.
2. Design and implement RF blocks, RF transmitters, and antennas for 5GHz applications.
3. Conduct over-the-air (OTA) and continuous wave (CW) tests to ensure the performance and reliability of the hardware.
4. Collaborate with the software engineering team to ensure the hardware design meets the software requirements.
5. Participate in the full product lifecycle, from concept to production, including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
7. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of hardware design and engineering.
8. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the smooth transition of designs from prototype to production.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in hardware design, specifically in PCB design using CAD and Altium.
3. Proven experience with RF blocks, RF transmitters, and antenna design for 5GHz applications.
4. Experience with over-the-air (OTA) and continuous wave (CW) testing.
5. Strong understanding of the printed circuit board (PCB) design process.
6. Experience with the full product lifecycle, from concept to production.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
8. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
9. Ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of hardware design and engineering.
10. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
