Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Develop short and long-term objectives, budgets, and operational plans for e-commerce platforms, ensuring successful implementation of new initiatives.
Manage product listings, pricing strategies, and promotions to optimize platform sales performance.
Analyze sales data, competitor activities, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, click-through rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Recommend and implement improvements to boost website conversions and user engagement.
Utilize e-commerce tools and technologies (e.g., social media, affiliate marketing, mobile applications) to execute effective strategies.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the e-commerce space.
Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance online visibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to drive campaigns and optimize partner relationships.
Partner with IT to implement essential e-commerce functionality.
Build and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team.
Act as the primary contact for major e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Walmart, managing relationships and ensuring optimal account performance.
Plan and execute pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns aligned with sales and ROI targets.
Coordinate with internal teams to develop marketing assets and optimize product listings for SEO.
Work closely with the operations team to manage inventory levels and address fulfillment issues.
Generate performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a successful e-commerce business, with expertise in both D2C and B2B.
Proven track record in developing strategy and driving operational execution with measurable success.
Experience managing ecommerce platforms in high-growth environments (preferred).
Familiarity with digital tools and platforms like Bazaarvoice and Salsify.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
