We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Header for our fast-paced Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both cold and hot header processes, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and innovative organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Operating and maintaining cold and hot header machines, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels at all times.
2. Performing regular inspections and maintenance on machines to prevent malfunctions and ensure continuous production.
3. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement new production strategies and techniques.
4. Training and mentoring junior staff members on the proper use and maintenance of header machines.
5. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, creating a safe and efficient working environment.
6. Troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
7. Assisting in the design and development of new products, utilizing your expertise in header processes.
8. Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards of excellence.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of2 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of and experience with both cold and hot header processes.
3. Proven ability to operate and maintain header machines, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
6. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, though not essential.
7. Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure all products meet our high standards of quality.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
