Job Details

We are hiring several LPNs with active NY State nursing license in good standing who come with at least 1 year LPN experience in either Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care, FQHC or health clinic setting

LPN MUST be bilingual / Fluent in SPANISH language

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday - NO Weekends!

LPN will provide direct patient care, administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with various procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. LPN will document patient information, maintain medical records, and educate patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Providing basic care, including assisting with activities of daily living, changing dressings, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications and injections.
  • Vital Signs: Taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Procedure Assistance: Assisting with medical procedures and collecting samples for laboratory testing.
  • Patient Education: Educating patients and their families on care plans and health maintenance.
  • Communication: Communicating patient status to healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow.
  • Phone Call Management: Answering patient calls, relaying information, and referring patients to appropriate resources.
  • Sterilization and Equipment: Sterilizing medical equipment and preparing equipment for procedures.
  • Sample Collection: Collecting blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing.
  • IV Therapy: Assisting in IV therapy, including initiating IVs and monitoring IV lines.
  • Immunizations: Administering immunizations and other injections.
  • Nebulizer Treatments: Providing nebulizer treatments as prescribed.
  • Patient Transport: Assisting with transporting patients to and from examination rooms.
