Job Details
We’re looking for a proactive Safety & Health Specialist to join our team and drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across our operations. This role is perfect for a safety professional who thrives on building programs, influencing teams, and making a direct impact on both people and performance.
What You’ll Do
Partner with leadership and employees to develop, implement, and improve safety programs that align with federal and state regulations.
Conduct workplace risk analyses to identify and address potential hazards before they become incidents.
Lead safety training initiatives—designing content, delivering sessions, and coaching teams to stay compliant and engaged.
Play a key role in incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned translate into stronger systems and safer practices.
Support and help design loss control systems that reduce risks, improve compliance, and strengthen operational performance.
Serve as a trusted resource to operations, maintenance, and leadership teams, communicating safety goals and progress clearly and effectively.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3–5 years as a safety professional (manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, or a related field. (Will consider 5+ years of equivalent experience in place of a degree).
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
Proven ability to conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigations.
Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence teams at all levels
