Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, highly-skilled, and passionate Permanent Healthcare/Regulatory Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in navigating complex healthcare regulations and legal issues, ensuring our organization's compliance, and safeguarding our reputation in the industry. This position is an integral part of our team, playing a critical role in managing legal matters related to healthcare regulations, fraud, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and health plans. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in healthcare law and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic legal advice on healthcare regulations, including but not limited to, fraud and abuse, privacy and security, and healthcare compliance matters.
2. Interpret and apply laws, rulings, and regulations related to healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
3. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, prepare legal documents, and manage litigation.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis on various healthcare-related topics.
6. Advise on contract matters, including negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Healthcare/Regulatory Attorney, with a strong background in healthcare regulations, fraud, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and health plans.
3. Admission to practice law in the state.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
5. Proficient in legal research and strong analytical skills.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
