POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific large-scale healthcare infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within the defined gross margin, and adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position will be based in Birmingham, AL, with required travel across the US as needed.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all day-to-day operations of assigned healthcare infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with the project management team to develop project objectives, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, healthcare regulations, and legal requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and develop and implement project plans.
Solve project problems and improve project methods.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality across all levels of project operations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare infrastructure project management experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
Proven track record of successfully completing large-scale healthcare projects.
Strong understanding of healthcare infrastructure processes, including design, HVAC, and construction.
Relevant healthcare certifications such as Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), or similar.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and understand healthcare infrastructure designs and specifications.
Proficient in project management software programs and technology.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
