We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects, with a particular emphasis on Emergency Room construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects, with a particular emphasis on Emergency Room construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the most innovative and challenging healthcare construction projects in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from pre-construction to final handover, ensuring all project objectives are met.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of all subcontractors, suppliers, and personnel on the project, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, and manage all project resources to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage all project communication, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of project status and any issues are resolved promptly.
- Review and approve all subcontractor's and supplier's invoices, and ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.
- Implement and maintain all company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and quality control.
- Work closely with the project team and other stakeholders to resolve any technical issues and to ensure the project is delivered to the client's satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in healthcare construction, with a particular focus on Emergency Room construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing complex healthcare construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of a diverse team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage all project communication and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software, and strong computer skills in MS Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve any technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in outdoor conditions.
