Job Details

Work on site within the Hospital as VP of Quality. Client is looking for a leader with strong organization to manage project flow and alignment for the key performance indicators of the hospital are met. Must have Registered Nursing experience and current RN licenses.
  • Collaborate with all employees in the Quality department and across multiple service lines
  • Oversee projects and delegates teams for the facility goals
  • Responsible for department goals and follow all federal, state, and Join Commission compliance
  • Review candidates for within the Quality Department and oversee decisions required to retain and hire additional staff and team members
  • Ensures the other department directors are following hospital Quality processes and find ways to resolving identified issues
  • Commit to being on hospital committees and being a standard for others to follow in this leadership role
  • Develops and monitors the department budget
  • Oversee both the Risk Management / Patient Safety program as well as the hospital wide program

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field required
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration is preferred, or enrolled in a program and must be completed within 2 years of hire
Three years of clinical experience in healthcare setting
Current RN licenses required or has an active compact license in the state of Kansas
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification is required within 12 months of hire
Certified Professional in Patient Safety preferred (CPPS)
Qualified candidate must be experienced in Healthcare Quality
CPHRM & HACP are preferred
Registered Nurse is now being required. Quality experience in an Acute Care Facility is also required.

Working hours are Monday - Friday.
