We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hearing Representative to join our dynamic team specializing in Workers Compensation Defense within the Legal industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. As a Permanent Hearing Representative, you will play a critical role in representing our organization at hearings, managing complex cases, and ensuring compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations. Your expertise in EDD and walk-throughs will be greatly valued as you navigate the legal landscape on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities:
1. Represent the organization at workers' compensation hearings and trials, presenting evidence, and arguing on behalf of our clients.
2. Conduct thorough and detailed EDD walk-throughs, ensuring all relevant information is gathered and properly documented.
3. Manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation defense cases, involving high exposure and high risk.
4. Develop and implement strategic defense plans, in collaboration with attorneys and other legal professionals.
5. Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on case progress and advising on legal matters related to workers' compensation.
6. Stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance at all times.
7. Draft and submit detailed reports, summarizing case progress and outcomes.
8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best possible service for our clients.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within workers' compensation defense.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of EDD and experience in conducting walk-throughs.
3. A proven track record of successfully managing and representing complex cases.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other legal professionals.
5. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload and meet tight deadlines.
6. A thorough understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop strategic defense plans.
8. A commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
