If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale heavy civil projects with a focus on underground utilities, highways, roadways, structures, bridges, and DOT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals on some of the most innovative and challenging construction projects in the industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Heavy Civil Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
4. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
5. Managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
6. Resolving any issues or disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.
7. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure high standards are met.
9. Utilizing project management software and technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with underground utilities, highways, roadways, structures, bridges, and DOT.
3. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in project management software and technology.
7. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. A thorough understanding of construction laws and regulations.
10. A commitment to safety and quality.
