Job Details
As a Heavy Civil Project Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing complex construction projects from inception through completion. Your role will involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring safety standards, and leading site teams. You will leverage your expertise in heavy civil construction to navigate challenges and deliver projects efficiently, on time, and within budget, while upholding the highest quality standards. - Plan, coordinate, and manage heavy civil construction projects, including grading, site work, and environmental restoration
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Lead and motivate on-site teams and subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage procurement and logistics to support construction operations
- Monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Resolve project issues proactively to minimize risk and maintain progress
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management best practices
- Proficiency with project management software and construction documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred, but not required
