Job Details
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Civil Superintendent located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Heavy Civil Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing project timelines. They will lead field workers and subcontractors to accomplish project goals and consistently deliver projects on time, under budget, and at the highest level of quality possible.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
- Well-versed in construction management software and building codes
- Expertise in safety compliance and experience with OSHA regulations
- Demonstrated ability in team management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead team meetings, give presentations, and engage with clients
- Experience with estimating projects, scheduling, and managing budgets
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, material selection, and construction methods and processes
- Willingness to travel to different project sites and work weekends or evenings when necessary
