Job Details

  • Provide leadership guidance to professional staff
  • Ensure provision of Hospice and Palliative Care services aligns with program goals
  • Mentor and direct professional staff as directed by the Hospice Nurse Manager
  • Function in a backup On-Call capacity 2-3 times per month and 2-3 holidays per year
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
  • Utilize effective communication and organizational skills
  • Uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance

Skills You Need:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN or BS degree preferred
Minimum five years of Hospice nursing experience
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Windows; New York State RN licensure required
