We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of a Hospitality Superintendent in the Construction industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who has a background in hotel, motel, resort, or lodging management and is looking to apply their skills in a new and exciting environment. As the Hospitality Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects related to hospitality, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. You will be the driving force behind the creation of exceptional hospitality facilities that will delight guests and create memorable experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of hospitality-related construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to design and implement plans.
3. Ensure all construction projects comply with safety regulations and building codes.
4. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure all parties are updated on project status.
6. Review and approve project invoices, ensuring all work has been completed satisfactorily.
7. Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce construction costs without compromising quality.
8. Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during construction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, specifically in hotel, motel, resort, or lodging construction project management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
5. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Proficiency in using construction management software.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. Must be willing to travel to construction sites as needed.
