Our prestigious hospitality client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Hotel Director of Finance. You will work closely with the General Manager and the Corporate Office and will participate in the most significant decisions about the hotel's operations. - Oversee the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and risk management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements, ensuring they comply with legal requirements and industry regulations.
- Analyze financial data and use them to improve profitability, make forecasts, plan future budgets, and make strategic decisions.
- Supervise the Finance Department's team, setting their objectives, and managing their performance.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to strategize and plan the hotel's financial strategy.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with the hotel's policies and legal regulations.
- Participate in the hotel's pricing decisions, ensuring they maximize profitability.
- Identify investment opportunities and present them to the hotel's board and senior stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the hotel's financial systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 3+ years of director of finance experience at a hotel.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
