Our prestigious hospitality client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Director of Finance. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong financial background and a passion for the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and guiding the hotel towards profitability and long-term success. You will work closely with the General Manager and the Corporate Office and will participate in the most significant decisions about the hotel's operations. If you enjoy taking on challenges, making strategic decisions, and have a keen eye for detail, this job is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hotel's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and risk management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements, ensuring they comply with legal requirements and industry regulations.
• Analyze financial data and use them to improve profitability, make forecasts, plan future budgets, and make strategic decisions.
• Supervise the Finance Department's team, setting their objectives, and managing their performance.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to strategize and plan the hotel's financial strategy.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with the hotel's policies and legal regulations.
• Participate in the hotel's pricing decisions, ensuring they maximize profitability.
• Identify investment opportunities and present them to the hotel's board and senior stakeholders.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the hotel's financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 3+ years of director of finance experience at a hotel.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Willingness to work on-site
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial legislation, regulation, and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
