Job Details

What You’ll Do
  • Process bi-weekly (hourly) and semi-monthly (salary) payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage expense report approvals and reimbursements
  • Maintain compliant payroll and employee records within the HRIS
  • Administer timekeeping systems, resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Support recruiting efforts (job postings, resume review, interview scheduling)
  • Lead onboarding/offboarding including orientation, benefits enrollment, and exit procedures
  • Assist with benefits programs (health, 401k, leave management, etc.)
  • Partner with HR leadership on engagement, performance, training, and compliance initiatives
  • Manage state tax accounts and compliance procedures
  • Respond to employee questions with discretion and care

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of payroll and/or HR experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience with ADP payroll, Benefits Administration systems, and HRIS tools
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment/payroll laws
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented

Nice to Have
  • Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry
