Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team in the Civil Construction industry. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our construction division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction industry and wants to make a real impact in the HR space.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the construction division, providing HR support and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the overall business strategy
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Partner with the recruitment team to identify top talent and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage the performance review process and support managers in setting goals and development plans for their teams
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to the business on areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in the construction industry or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to influence and coach managers on HR issues
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • SHRM-CP or SCP certification preferred
