We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be integral in supporting our workforce and implementing strategic HR initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a manufacturing environment and will be familiar with a wide range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and training and development. The ability to travel to other manufacturing plants is essential.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be integral in supporting our workforce and implementing strategic HR initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a manufacturing environment and will be familiar with a wide range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and training and development. The ability to travel to other manufacturing plants is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the HR function in our manufacturing plants, including the implementation of policies and best practices.
- Manage the relocation process for new plants, including the provision of relocation packages.
- Develop and provide training opportunities for employees, supporting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, staying up-to-date with state, locale, and federal regulations as well as new and changing laws.
- Work closely with HRBPs and plant leadership to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and find resolutions.
- Generate HRIS reports and use analytics to provide data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to project management efforts to improve processes within the HRIS.
- Collaborate with corporate accounting to establish baselines and benchmarks.
- Develop and implement HR strategy in line with company objectives.
- Manage compensation & benefits, workforce planning, HR policies, and performance management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of employment law.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated skills in training and development.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to other manufacturing plants as required.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition and employee engagement.
- Experience in workforce planning and performance management.
- Knowledge of compensation & benefits.
- Familiarity with HR policies and best practices.
