We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be integral in supporting our workforce and implementing strategic HR initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a manufacturing environment and will be familiar with a wide range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and training and development. The ability to travel to other manufacturing plants is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the HR function in our manufacturing plants, including the implementation of policies and best practices.
  • Manage the relocation process for new plants, including the provision of relocation packages.
  • Develop and provide training opportunities for employees, supporting continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, staying up-to-date with state, locale, and federal regulations as well as new and changing laws.
  • Work closely with HRBPs and plant leadership to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and find resolutions.
  • Generate HRIS reports and use analytics to provide data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to project management efforts to improve processes within the HRIS.
  • Collaborate with corporate accounting to establish baselines and benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement HR strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Manage compensation & benefits, workforce planning, HR policies, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Thorough understanding of employment law.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated skills in training and development.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to other manufacturing plants as required.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition and employee engagement.
  • Experience in workforce planning and performance management.
  • Knowledge of compensation & benefits.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and best practices.
