We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting HR Generalist to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role is ideal for a professional who strives to make a significant impact, enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and is adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. As a Consulting HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including processing payroll, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires, handling garnishments, and managing FMLA and LOA. Fluency in both Spanish and English is a must for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payouts.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process, ensuring the selection of the most qualified candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive initial experience.
  • Handle garnishments, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage FMLA and LOA, providing support to employees and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide general HR support and consultation, addressing employee concerns and questions.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with management to understand the company's HR needs and develop strategies to meet these needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, ensuring company compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on payroll, interviewing, onboarding, garnishments, FMLA, and LOA.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience in managing a full spectrum of HR activities, from recruitment to employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
