Job Details

Duties:

1. Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including weekly and biweekly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, hourly-employee time card review, etc.
2. Assist with the coordination of recruiting efforts and employment of job candidates. Comply with Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity guidelines.
3. Labor agreement administration
4. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
5.Conduct employee onboarding
6. Prepares new hire orientation packages
7. Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance
7. Use of IFS System to maintain employee change data
8. Maintains confidential personnel files and training records
9. Maintains posted lists of active employees for Emergency Evacuation
10. Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave of absence, compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

1. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
2. Knowledge of and previous work experience with an Affirmative Action Plan, relating to recruitment and the evaluation of its effectiveness a must.
3. Knowledge of employment labor laws and general human resources policies and procedures a must
