This newly created role will serve as the primary point of contact for all human resources matters, helping to shape the employee experience, support leadership, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Job Details

Job Details
The HR Manager will oversee and execute the firm’s human resources functions, including but not limited to:
Planning and coordinating onboarding and training for new hires.
Maintaining and updating the employee handbook and HR policies.
Managing benefits administration and annual enrollment.
Addressing grievances and helping resolve employee relations issues.
Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to source, interview, and recommend candidates.
Conducting interviews and advising leadership on hiring decisions.
Serving as a resource for managers and employees regarding HR policies and best practices.
Ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
Other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
5–8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a professional services or law firm environment.
Strong knowledge of Texas employment law and multi-state compliance.
Experience with employee relations, recruiting, and benefits administration.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across the organization.
Hands-on experience with HRIS, payroll, and recruiting systems (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar).
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) strongly preferred.
Must reside in Texas.
