Job Details
- The HR Admin is responsible for aligning company objectives with employees and managers
- This position will support employee benefits coordination, LOA (leave of absence) processing and other facets of the job
- This individual will be a motivated individual who thrives on meeting deadlines, attentive to detail, and overall enjoys enhancing the employee experience
- Consults with managers and employees, providing HR administrative assistance
- Analyzes trends in HR to help develop solutions, programs and policies
- Assist in administrating COBRA, LOA, FMLA, leaves, and other issues as required by regulations and legal standards
- Assist in Benefits open enrollment on a yearly basis
- Provide accurate and timely reporting, data entry, and other administrative responsibilities within Human Resources
- Document employee relations issues as needed
- Develop an understanding of the HR function by assisting in task and priorities within an administrative capacity
- Works with Executives and Managers from different departments in handling information sensitive material and subjects in relation to HR (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Sits in and assists managers with performance appraisal discussions
- Assist in providing HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Manages vendor relationships
- Provides assistance in the guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning
- Assist in providing personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
- Helps in coordinating open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs
- Respond to human resources administrative related inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing when needed
- Partners with the Human Resources Manager in creating and distributing internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
- Assist in new employee on-boarding and orientation
- Partners with the Talent Acquisition function in the talent management processes and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Monitor employee morale and company culture
- Maintain employee personnel records
