You will be responsible for managing employee relations, benefits, recruitment, training, and onboarding processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for driving a positive company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Oversee and administer employee benefits and programs.
- Implement and revise a company’s compensation program.
- Create and revise job descriptions.
- Conduct annual salary surveys.
- Develop, analyze, and update the company’s salary budget.
- Develop, analyze and update the company’s evaluation program.
- Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintain and revise the company’s handbook on policies and procedures.
- Perform benefits administration.
- Maintain affirmative action programs.
- Oversee exit interviews.
- Maintain department records and reports.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings.
- Maintain company directory and other organizational charts.
- Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as HR Director for 5+ years, preferably in the Casino & Gaming industry.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Professional certification such as PHR or SPHR, and SHRM is preferred.
- Proficient with HRIS and other related HR technology.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
