Our organization is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Director to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. You will bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to, employee relations, interviewing, onboarding, and background checks.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing, onboarding, and background checks.
4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
6. Nurture a positive working environment.
7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
8. Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
9. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
10. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
11. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Proven working experience as HR Director or similar role (5+ years required).
2. Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
3. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
4. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
6. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
7. Degree in Human Resources or related field.
8. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
9. Proven experience managing employee relations, interviewing, onboarding, and background checks.
10. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
12. Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
