As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our organization in driving growth and innovation. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations and systems, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, payroll, and ADP. This role requires a dynamic individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the recruitment process from start to finish, including job posting, candidate screening, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
2. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring that all actions are legally compliant and align with company policies.
3. Implement and manage performance management systems, including performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.
4. Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
5. Administer payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
8. Provide guidance and advice to management on HR-related matters, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar.
3. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, payroll, and ADP.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex HR issues in a professional and timely manner.
7. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP.
8. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
9. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
11. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
