Job Details

We are seeking an entry-level Human Resources Specialist to join a fast-paced, hands-on team supporting operations across two Southern California locations. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into their first full-time HR position with a well-established organization that values structure, process, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the company culture.
  • Address pay-related concerns and provide payroll support.
  • Administer payroll processes in compliance with California law and company policy.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and process pay changes, benefits updates, and other personnel requests.
  • Guide employees through benefits enrollment and communicate updates clearly and promptly.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including warehouse, sales, and merchandising teams, to ensure HR support meets diverse needs.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on California labor laws and workplace regulations.
  • Maintain a structured, process-driven approach while upholding standards and policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and HR-related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of California labor law.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse employee population.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to enforce standards firmly and fairly.
  • Previous payroll and HRIS experience preferred; Paycom experience a plus.
