Job Details
We’re seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in estimating HVAC systems for a wide range of commercial projects—ranging from offices and restaurants to warehouses and industrial spaces. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely bids.

- Prepare cost estimates for Design/Build and Plan/Spec commercial HVAC construction projects
- Calculate AC/heating loads, ventilation needs, duct sizing, and frost protection requirements
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and scopes to develop accurate budgets
- Gather pricing from subcontractors and vendors; evaluate quotes for completeness and competitiveness
- Attend design and coordination meetings—both in-person and virtually—to support ongoing planning and execution
- Work with the internal team to align estimates with budgets, timelines, and project goals
- Maintain organized documentation for all bids, estimates, and project-related materials
- Provide submittal packages and technical documentation as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating, sales, or design/build environments
- Strong understanding of HVAC system components, mechanical codes, and commercial construction practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven setting
- Familiarity with estimating tools or platforms
