We’re looking for a skilled and motivated HVAC Controls Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the programming, troubleshooting, startup, and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS). You’ll work hands-on in the field, ensuring system performance, resolving technical issues, and delivering seamless HVAC control integration.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the team to consistently exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor project schedules through job site visits and regular communication with subcontractors and project managers.
- Provide on-site guidance to electrical subcontractors and address technical questions.
- Ensure quality and timely electrical installations.
- Deliver materials to job sites as required.
- Complete BAS programming and graphics in preparation for system startup.
- Perform system startup, checkout, and commissioning of projects.
- Conduct point-to-point verification to ensure all controls and graphics function per the design and sequence of operations.
- Respond to service calls during both active projects and the warranty period.
- Perform scheduled service inspections and verifications in line with support agreements.
- Collaborate with management on your professional development and training plan.
- Update redline drawings for final engineering revisions and customer manuals.
- Participate in the on-call rotation (typically one week per number of technicians).
Qualificaitons:
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Customer-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and electrical wiring diagrams
- Basic knowledge of networking and IT systems
- Must be able to pass random drug screenings and a background check
- Valid driver's license required
Nice to have:
- 1+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or automation industries
- Associate’s degree, technical degree, or certification in HVAC, electrical, or automation
- Advanced computer or networking skills
