We are an industry-leading construction company seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and complex projects. The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals and contribute to the design and development of HVAC systems for a variety of commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Design Engineer, you will:

1. Utilize your expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to design, develop, and implement advanced HVAC systems.
2. Oversee the creation and modification of ductwork and piping layouts, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Apply your knowledge of psychometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and control systems to optimize HVAC performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to develop comprehensive HVAC solutions.
5. Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
6. Prepare and present detailed reports and designs to stakeholders and clients.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards, ensuring our HVAC systems are at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the HVAC Design Engineer position should have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC design engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
4. Extensive knowledge of ductwork, piping, psychometrics, refrigeration, acoustics, and control systems.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
7. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
