We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in coordinating and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our HVAC services. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and high-quality HVAC solutions. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and superb communication skills.
Responsibilities
As an HVAC Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:
1. Coordinating and dispatching HVAC technicians to service calls and installations promptly.
2. Prioritizing service calls based on urgency and technician availability.
3. Communicating effectively with customers, providing them with updates on technician arrival times and service details.
4. Ensuring all dispatch calls are responded to in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and avoid delays.
5. Managing the scheduling of preventive maintenance and service work in coordination with the service department.
6. Keeping records of service calls, work orders, and customer interactions.
7. Collaborating with the team to devise efficient routes for service technicians.
8. Assisting in the management of HVAC inventory and equipment.
9. Resolving service issues and customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
10. Working closely with the management team to develop strategies to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an HVAC Dispatcher or in a similar role in the engineering industry.
2. Knowledge of HVAC systems and air conditioning units.
3. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
4. Proficiency in dispatch software and other relevant computer applications.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations.
8. High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate in HVAC or a related field is a plus.
